A Weekend with Kati & Duane

I'd be lying if I didn't say I was psyched for this week's events with Kati Hernandez & Duane Wrenn. Thanks to Adrian Valdivia they are coming in for classes and workshops and bringing their unique style of teaching to Washington DC.

Here are the details for two of the events.

Thursday - Liv Nightclub - $10 cover

8:00 pm - Lesson with Kati & Duane
9:00 pm - Great dancing with music provided by guest DJ Walt Digz from San Francisco & DJ Asho

Saturday - Workshop at Washington Dance Institute - $20 cover

1:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Intensive workshop covering body movement, salsa, AfroCuban movement

I have taken classes with both Kati and Duane and can tell you that their instruction is excellent. I learned more in one hour with Duane than I had learned in hours and hours in other classes. Kati is a powerhouse of a dancer in both strength and skill.

Please pass this information on to anyone who would like to add a little something to their dancing. Even the the most experienced of dancers will be able to walk away with something new.
